Women’s Audio Mission @ 111 Minna

Women’s Audio Mission is a San Francisco based, non-profit organization, dedicated to the advancement of women in music production and the recording arts.  They held the opening reception for the 133rd Audio Engineering Society Annual Convention at 111 Minna Gallery past October.

Snap Fiesta was honored to be a sponsor for this event and provided a creative, fun-filled photo booth experience for all to enjoy!  The Golden Gate Bridge being the back drop, provided the perfect scene for all to explore and demonstrate their creative artsy side!  With a lot of musical instruments used as props, it helped to get everyone in the mood for the convention.

The WAM  vision statement is “ Changing the Face of Sound ”.  With that being said, they provide and offer training programs to many women in the San Francisco area.

Thanks WAM for a great event, and for making a difference in our community and the lives of women! We are pleased to be a part of such a great organization!

INgrooves Fontana – 10 Year Anniversary @ Great American Music Hall 10.11.12

The independent music community was in full effect at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall as more than 600 INgrooves Fontana employees, investors, business partners and retailers celebrated the company’s 10th Anniversary with an evening of music and fun from some of the most acclaimed independent artists in the world.

SnapFiesta was there to ensure that everyone also showed off their creative photography side, while enjoying some great music and drinks! The photo booth was a huge “hit” as well!  The guests had a lot of fun with all of the accessories and props we brought in.  Colorful flowered leis and feathered boas adorned their necks, as they posed with Chinese umbrellas.  The photo booth definitely helped to promote the celebratory mood of the evening, as it was enjoyed by many!  The event took months of planning, and we are honored to have been part of the festivities.

INgrooves Fontana is a leader in the independent music distribution and marketing industry.  INgrooves Fontana distributes digital and physical music content to hundreds of online, mobile and physical retail stores worldwide.   Performers for the night included The Lumineers (Dualtone), Caveman (Fat Possum) and Little Hurricane (Unknown Breakthrough).  Music fans were also treated to a surprise performance by newcomer Anna Graceman (Another Girl) and a blistering closing set by The Crystal Method (Tiny e).

Jameson Experience @ O’Reilly’s Oysterfest 6.30.12

SnapFiesta was on board with Jameson for O’Reilly’s Oysterfest. We were part of the Jameson Experience, without a doubt one of the best areas of the festival!

The 13th Annual O’Reilly’s Oysterfest took place all day June 30th at Sharon Meadow in San Francisco’s lush Golden Gate Park.  There was a large selection of oysters from all over the West Coast, as far north as British Columbia extending to the coast of Mexico, as well as samplings from SF’s popular restaurants.  In addition to the culinary selection, Oysterfest guests were entertained by musical talent, headlined by Young the Giant, Minus the Bear, Manchester Orchestra, Little Hurricane and DJ Aaron Axelsen.  The icing on the cake (or the icing on the oyster?) was the fantastic variety of beers, wine, and cocktails available for sipping while enjoying the food and the show, including Jameson Irish Whiskey.  SnapFiesta snapped some of the action at the Jameson Experience.  It was a great day of food, fun, drinks, and oysters in Golden Gate Park!
