The Bold Italic & ForageSF’s MeatUp

The Bold Italic, SnapFiesta and ForageSF teamed up to present MeatUp, a celebration of local ingredients, at the Avocados & Coconuts venue space. Those ingredients mainly consisted of meat –  and lots of it! 20 different combinations of duck, pork, chicken, and lamb sausages stuffed with 5 different herb fillings were served alongside potato salad, bread, and asparagus, as well as a selection of drinks. Guests were also treated to unlimited sessions in our SF photobooth, featuring our eye-catching Lime Flor background, and screen-printing coozies with WorkshopSF. A live quartet filled the room as friends enjoyed the get-together.

The Bold Italic @ Anchor Brewery

Here at SnapFiesta we are used to handling curve balls when we show up at events. Our friends at The Bold Italic threw a very interesting one: a 500 pound bear! He was a surprise, but our crew worked around his installation and got the event going on time. We are very glad he could join the party!

The Bold Italic is a very popular online magazine tapped into the spirit and community of San Francisco. SnapFiesta got a chance to get wild with them at the Anchor California Lager Launch Party that took place in the Anchor Brewing Company. Acting also as an event hub and online shop, Bold Italic promotes bold, local entrepreneurs and praises Anchor Brewery for its significance in San Francisco’s history and its handmade contributions of eight unique beers, notably including Anchor Steam®. Guests got a chance to taste the fine beverages themselves while enjoying the party. The launch represents another success in the longtime Anchor Brewing Company legacy, which has its roots in the California gold rush and survived through the Prohibition. Enjoy the photos with our new friend the Anchor Steam Bear!

Photobooth and Flipbook Station w/ SFTravel @ Exploratorium 4.10.13

SnapFiesta officially launched our newest service: FlipFiesta Flipbooks, at the Exploratorium‘s brand new home at Pier 15/17 on April 10th, 2013. We got an exclusive sneak peek inside before the museum held its grand re-opening to the public thanks to our partnership with SFTravel, hosts of the spring Partner Business Exchange. The bustling mixer brought together hundreds of Bay Area SFTravel partners for an evening of networking, gourmet bites, and top-notch spirits. Of course, guests also got to get hands-on with the Exploratorium’s famously interactive installations of mesmerizing arts and fascinating sciences. Those that stopped by our SnapFiesta photobooth studio were whisked away to various San Francisco attractions and nightlife scenes via our green screen technology. Over at our FlipFiesta studio, guests were thrilled to discover the unique and novel flipbook experience we offered, which brought an even more interactive, animated, and 3-D version of our professional photobooth experience. We didn’t think anyone would be more excited than we were to launch flipbooks, but the fun-loving partners, families, and museum volunteers that came through our video booth proved otherwise! There was no shortage throughout the evening of mini-movie stars lining up beside our decked out props table to make sure they got in on all the action. We couldn’t have asked for a more entertaining and enthusiastic group to be a part of our FlipFiesta Flipbooks beginnings.

Terracotta Warriors Opening @ Asian Art Museum

SnapFiesta is a San Francisco photo booth that is all about pushing boundaries – whether it be the premiere technologies and photography expertise we employ in our photo booths, or the intricately detailed and eye-catching studio setups we build for our clients – and the ultra-high-energy experience provided by CHERYL at the Asian Art Museum‘s Terracotta Warriors opening party was right at our level. Party-goers donned in elaborate costumes and face paint took a break from the rumbling dance floor to step in front of our glamorous Spangled Gold Sequin backdrop and be the stars of their very own professional mini-photo-shoot. The celebration was thrown on the eve of the grand unveiling of the Asian’s China’s Terracotta Warriors: The First Emperor’s Legacy exhibit, which features ten life-size terracotta figures – the biggest collection permitted outside of China within a single space. Given that the First Emperor’s impressive burial ground was discovered to boast of a scale replica all 250,000 square feet of his imperial palace (zoo included), and has earned the title of the Eighth Wonder Of The World, we’re certain that the Emperor would have felt as right at home with the epic and extraordinary party scene as we did.

Dine About Town Launch Party @ City View

Over 100 of San Francisco’s most prominent restaurants participated in this year’s first round of Dine About Town (DAT), the 12th annual rendition of the popular, week-long celebration of cuisine brought By SF Travel and partners.

Though it happens twice a year, San Francisco residents are famed to be enthusiastic foodies – and for good reason. We can never get enough of exciting, quality food. The answer to that challenge was the Dine About Town Launch Party, held eight days in advance to kickoff atop the City View at Metreon.

A selection of participating restaurants contributed to the party fundraiser, thrown to support Meals On Wheels with 100% of its proceeds, by providing an early sneak preview of their planned DAT menus. In between enjoying breathtaking views of San Francisco nightlife with wine, beer, and spirit samples, guests rounded out their unforgettable experience with SnapFiesta’s one of a kind open-set, professional photo booth.

They literally would not forget the city scenery as our green screen technology captured all the lights and colors of the nighttime city view from the City View Metreon. Guests could enjoy some other SF attractions: De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, SF Ballet, the First Emperor’s burial ground from the Asian Art Museum’s Terracotta Warriors exhibit, and the adored seven dwarves of the Snow White exhibit from the Walt Disney Museum. It was a scrumptious night of food and fun to remember as guests left smiling with happy bellies.

SF Moma Corporate Partners Night

Members of SFMoma’s Corporate Council got an exclusive chance to unwind with an evening of food, drinks, and live music as they enjoyed the museum after hours at the January Corporate Partners Night.

In addition to a private showing of all eleven exhibits installed at the time, including Jay DeFeo: A Retrospective and Picturing Modernity, guests got to hop into our photo booth studio, in front of our laid-back Greydient backdrop while they stole the show, and walk away with evidence of the great memories they made that evening.

The atmosphere was lively with laughter and the feathers of boas flying all about in the fun. Perhaps all the creative energy in the art surrounding guests sparked their inner muses because, after draping themselves in props galore and stepping in front of our cameras, everybody turned into a total goofball. Just the right kind of people for SnapFiesta’s “think outside the booth” mindset.

Women’s Audio Mission @ 111 Minna

Women’s Audio Mission is a San Francisco based, non-profit organization, dedicated to the advancement of women in music production and the recording arts.  They held the opening reception for the 133rd Audio Engineering Society Annual Convention at 111 Minna Gallery past October.

Snap Fiesta was honored to be a sponsor for this event and provided a creative, fun-filled photo booth experience for all to enjoy!  The Golden Gate Bridge being the back drop, provided the perfect scene for all to explore and demonstrate their creative artsy side!  With a lot of musical instruments used as props, it helped to get everyone in the mood for the convention.

The WAM  vision statement is “ Changing the Face of Sound ”.  With that being said, they provide and offer training programs to many women in the San Francisco area.

Thanks WAM for a great event, and for making a difference in our community and the lives of women! We are pleased to be a part of such a great organization!
