The Top Photobooth Poses

When the camera focuses in some people feel awkward having their picture taken, others revel in the spotlight and attention a camera brings. Below are The Top Photobooth Poses so next time you are in the spotlight you wont be caught off guard.

The Miley Cyrus– This  former Disney princess turned rebellious pop star has become synonymous with sticking her tongue out in photos. While not the most flattering pose it says “I know how to have fun” while also giving a “I don’t really care how I look” vibe.  Its a good pose choice if you have had a bit too much of the punch and want to show everyone how awesome you are. 

KimThe Kim Kardashian– Kim is famous for being in front of the camera. She usually reverts to her oh so popular “Selfie Pout”. She is a selfie pro and the Lemme Take a Selfie song was probably written for her. When you aren’t feeling oh so fabulous when you are in front of the camera just do the “Selfie Pout” and you will find your confidence level rise.   

The Sorority Girl- A whole separate post could be written about various poses that happen when groups of girls get together. I sorwill name all these posses with the title “The Sorority Girl” for sake of remembering them. Gravity seems to weigh on sorority girls a tad bit harder and the Sorority Squat is a common practice when posing for photos, why stand when you can squat and look smaller? The Elbow Pop is another common go to pose of the sorority girl. It shows off her tan and athletic arms, her envy worthy jewelry and her amazing side profile. 

 

Last but not least when it doubt throw up a random hand sign, the Peace sign is always a safe bet.

 

 

 

 

SF Magazine FallFest with Mini SF 10.12.13

San Francisco Magazine and Mini SF presented FallFest 2013 at the Justin Herman Plaza at the Embarcadero and SnapFiesta was there to capture the fun! FallFest is a celebration of the Bay Area’s fine foods and their sustainable markets. The festival also benefits Meals on Wheels San Francisco!

Along with sponsors like Lucky Supermarkets and Stella Artois, guests enjoyed a day of food, wine, and lots of fun! Guests also enjoyed drink seminars, chef demos, and DIY drink stations!

Yelp & Austin Music Foundation 11.7.13

SnapFiesta traveled to Austin, Texas once again to help Yelp and the Austin Music Foundation! Yelp users were invited to Speakeasy for Yelp’s Golden Age party to raise money for the Austin Music Foundation.

Yelpers were treated to and evening of live music, food, drinks, and more! Ladies were able to have their makeup done by Hint of Shimmer’s expert artists, hair and was perfectly styled by Benjamin Beau Salon. Gentlemen were given oiled bears and waxed mustaches by Bearded Bastard, and  even Sephora lent a hand to make sure not a lip in the house was untouched.

Overall, the event raised over $2,000 for the Austin Music Foundation!

The 8th Annual San Francisco Social 11.16.13

Have we mentioned how much we love to have fun while benefiting the greater good? We probably have, but we’re going to mention it again for good measure because the San Francisco Social fired up once again this November to raise money for the Larkin Street Youth Services! And SnapFiesta was invited to record the night, photobooth style!

The SF Social featured gourmet food, a silent auction, Benefit gift bags, an open bar,  and an after party!  This years sponsors included The W Hotel, Benefit makeup, Harlot, The San Francisco Bay Club and many more.

This years beneficiary, the Larkin Street Youth Services have been serving the San Francisco area since 1984. The non-profit helps at-risk teens and young adults and offers medical, social, and educational services as well as housing. For more information visit  www.larkinstreetyouth.org.

Entire Productions & The Bently Reserve present A Bright New Year!

Entire Productions and The Bently Reserve teamed up to celebrate a fabulously successful 2013 with the industries best and brightest! SnapFiesta captured all the fun with our signature photobooth!

Along with guests and clients, vendors and those in the event industry, Entire Productions featured several companies, SnapFiesta included! Among those featured at the event were Blueprint Studios, Ladies Who Lunch, New Delhi Restaurant, Best Beverage Catering Company, The Whole Cake, Gustavo Fernandez Photography, City Lights Promotions, and others!

The event was also the premier of Elevate Events, the new name of Entire Productions’ A/V department and the new dance band The 415s!

Celebrate50 GLIDE Annual Holiday Festival & VIP Reception

This isn’t our first time doing an event with GLIDE and we sure hope it’s not our last, because we have so much fun at all of their events! The holidays are especially our favorite time of the year and we’re so glad we got to celebrate GLIDE’s annual festival!

This year was a double celebration! As well as it being the annual holiday party, this year marked fifty years at GLIDE for the co-founders Cecil Williams and Janice Mirikitani! Held at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House, guests were treated to performances by Valerie Simpson, Judith Hill, Tom Johnston, and more! Dr. Maya Angelou also made an appearance! What a night to remember it was!

SF Bay Area NACE Gala 2013

The San Francisco Bay Area National Association for Catering & Events held it’s annual Gala at the Recency Center in early November! SnapFiesta was invited to capture the nights festivities in our signature photobooth and it was a blast! Aptly named “A World of Wonder”, the gala was nothing short of what was expected.

The event was also a fundraiser! With a silent auction and a designers’ tablescape competition, the gala raised money for the Bay Area NACE chapter as well as New Door Ventures, a local non-profit that helps at-risk youth prepare for the future. There were also awards and a cash raffle available to guests!

Rockwall Winery, Wine Wonderland! 12.7.13

Who doesn’t love wine, food, and good company? We’re definitely not ones to pass something like that up! Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with the Rock Wall Wine Company and hundreds of their friends!

This year’s Wine Wonderland Open House featured six new release wines as well as 65 other wines to for guests to sample. And who doesn’t like great food to go with great wine? Guests were treated to foods from local restaurants such as Jackson Blake BBQ, Nombe, Scolari’s Good Eats, Lungomare, Bombzie’s BBQ, and Asena.  You can’t have delicious food without dessert, either, and this event did not fail! Vendors like Nothing Bundt Cakes, Kind Bars, Cookiebar, and others, provided guests with the perfect end to their meals. And it doesn’t stop there! In addition to a SnapFiesta photobooth, guests could get henna tattoos by Yogi’s Henna, and were entertained throughout the night with live music by Kenya Baker!

Reason to Party!

We can never say enough how honored we feel when we do events for a good cause. The Reason to Party and Dot429 Winter Gala was certainly for a wonderful cause! SnapFiesta was invited to attend the Never Too Young, a Benefit for The Colon Cancer Alliance to help these two companies raise money for those in need!

In addition to cocktails and live music, as well as a SnapFiesta photobooth! A silent auction was held, too, and prizes included tickets to Carmen Marco Valvo’s fashion show in New York this February, a two night stay at a hotel, a 24×24 painting by local artist Casey O’Connell, and others!

It’s so much fun to be a part of these events!
