Dine About Town Launch Party @ City View
Over 100 of San Francisco’s most prominent restaurants participated in this year’s first round of Dine About Town (DAT), the 12th annual rendition of the popular, week-long celebration of cuisine brought By SF Travel and partners.
Though it happens twice a year, San Francisco residents are famed to be enthusiastic foodies – and for good reason. We can never get enough of exciting, quality food. The answer to that challenge was the Dine About Town Launch Party, held eight days in advance to kickoff atop the City View at Metreon.
A selection of participating restaurants contributed to the party fundraiser, thrown to support Meals On Wheels with 100% of its proceeds, by providing an early sneak preview of their planned DAT menus. In between enjoying breathtaking views of San Francisco nightlife with wine, beer, and spirit samples, guests rounded out their unforgettable experience with SnapFiesta’s one of a kind open-set, professional photo booth.
They literally would not forget the city scenery as our green screen technology captured all the lights and colors of the nighttime city view from the City View Metreon. Guests could enjoy some other SF attractions: De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, SF Ballet, the First Emperor’s burial ground from the Asian Art Museum’s Terracotta Warriors exhibit, and the adored seven dwarves of the Snow White exhibit from the Walt Disney Museum. It was a scrumptious night of food and fun to remember as guests left smiling with happy bellies.
